Booking Conditions
The booking process used on this site is a ‘request’ for pitches only. Completion of the booking request process does not guarantee the availability of the pitch or of the price quoted, which is provided online only as a guide.
On submission of your booking request, if the facilities that you requested are available and the amount quoted in the guide price provided during the booking process is accurate, we will contact you and request payment of a deposit, at which point the booking has been formally agreed and accepted by Fairfields Farm. If for any reason, the facilities that you requested are not available, or there has been a variation in price, we will contact you and advise you of the details, and suggest alternative arrangements and confirm costs.
The dates of your booking will be held upon payment of the required deposit.
Upon receipt of the deposit, a booking confirmation will be sent to you promptly. If you have not received your booking confirmation within 7 days, please notify us as soon as possible. Payments can be made by debit/credit card or cheque (made payable to Fairfields Farm).
It is your responsibility to check the details on your booking confirmation are correct and notify us immediately of any discrepancies. We cannot accept responsibility for any errors not corrected prior to arrival.
Where a deposit has been paid, the full balance payment will be due upon arrival and before you enter the park.
If you do not check-in before 21.00 hrs on your confirmed arrival date, your booking will be deemed as cancelled and your deposit forfeited. If your arrival is delayed, please contact us immediately, leaving a message if necessary. Failure to notify us of your delay will result in your pitch being re-let for the remainder of your reservation.
Fairfields Farm only accepts bookings from persons over 18 years of age and reserves the right, at all times, without a statement of reasons, to refuse a booking.
Cancellation by you
In the event that you need to cancel your booking, you must notify us by email at enquiries@fairfieldsfarm.com or in writing to: Fairfields Farm, Eastbourne Road, Westham, Pevensey, East Sussex BN24 5NG or
Deposits paid are non-refundable, and if you fail to notify us of your cancellation in writing, the balance of your booking will still be payable.
Cancellation by us
We reserve the right to cancel your booking at any time in the event of circumstances beyond our reasonable control. In the unlikely event of this happening, we will initially offer you an alternative date within the same season. If there are less than 2 months of the season remaining you may request a refund of the deposit paid, less the 10% administration fee. However, we will not be liable for any other loss incurred by you as a result of the cancellation.
Booking Amendments
If you need to amend your booking dates we will do our utmost to assist you in transferring the start/finish date of your stay, provided the request is received at least 7 days prior to scheduled arrival and subject to suitable availability. Such amendments will be subject to a £5 administration fee. We cannot consider booking amendments when less than 7 days notice is given and your deposit will be forfeited if you are unable to fulfil your reservation.
Occupancy
Bookings at Fairfields Farm are to be made for the purposes of a holiday only.
Fairfields Farm caters for families and couples. In certain circumstances, we accept bookings from clubs, groups or similar. We do not accept all male, all female, or uneven numbered mixed parties other than by prior arrangement. It is the right of Fairfields Farm to refuse group bookings if we feel that this may be of detriment to other guests staying on the farm.
Prices
The prices featured on our website are not binding; Fairfields Farm reserves the right to modify these prices. At the time of booking, you will be informed of the prices applicable. The price stated on the confirmation email is binding.
Pitch prices include WiFi, water and use of the facilities block for the duration of your stay.
Arrival & Departure
On arrival please go to our reception building at the entrance to the Park where a member of our team will be available to meet you, calculate and receive the balance payable, and provide you with all the information you need regarding your stay with us. When the reception is closed, our Wardens will provide this service.
Pitches are available from 14.00 hrs. Please ensure you arrive before 21.00 hrs. Arrivals after 21.00 hrs will be refused entry due to unfair disturbance to other customers.
The entrance barrier to the Park is locked between 22.30hrs and 7.30 hrs during which time only pedestrian access will be possible. Please ensure all visitors and guests are made aware of the vehicular restriction. There is a parking area alongside the bin compound should you need to arrive or depart with your vehicle during these times. We also offer additional parking in the Park entrance but vehicles parked here overnight must be removed by 9.00 hrs the following morning.
You must vacate the park by 12.00 hrs on the day of departure. Please be aware that the toilet/shower facilities will be CLOSED for cleaning at this time and you will NOT have access to the farm walk.
