British Airways i360 opened in August 2016 and is a 162m observation tower located on the seafront in Brighton, at the landward end of the former West Pier.
From the fully enclosed viewing pod, visitors experience 360-degree views across Brighton, the South Downs, the English Channel and on the clearest days it is possible to see Beachy Head 27 km (17 mi) to the east and the Isle of Wight 66 km (41 mi) to the west.
